BOI V R Iyer, CMB, Bank of India on RBI's and Quarter Review of Monetary Policy

With reference to reserve bank of India’s 2ND Quarter Review Of Monetary Policy V.R. Iyer, CMD, Bank of India said  'In line with our expectations, the RBI has hiked the Benchrnark Policy Rate- Repo by 25 bps to 7.75 percent and lowered the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) by same magnitude to 8.75 percent This is the second repo hike since last month, dearly indicating RBI's primary objective of tackling inflation first.
